Covid 19 Policy

Bearing in mind the current restrictions and guidelines issued by Public Health England, Wonderfully Vintage has decided to restrict services to picnic hampers only until further notice.

As most of you know, we are a family business and we work from home so we are able to provide a very safe environment.  We have implemented a strict Covid 19 policy to avoid any contamination from the items we hire out or collect back in from our customers.

Covid 19 Hire Policy

To avoid cross contamination between the hirer and ourselves, Wonderfully Vintage will provide a fully contactless delivery service, with adequate PPE worn at all times.  We will ensure that all items are sterilised and kept isolated for 72 hours prior to delivery as well as carefully wrapping the china, to order, in new packaging materials, for each hire.

The hirer is not required to wash the hire items after use. As the china is very delicate, it will be washed and sterilised on return and isolated again for at least 72 hours before further hire. We are fortunate to have a large number of stock items, thereby reducing the need to use the same items on multiple occasions.  The hampers are also thoroughly cleaned, air -dried and isolated for 72 hours before re-use. Please carefully repack the china in the packaging provided before return collection.

We have amended our Terms of Hire to enable us to provide extra safety for ourselves and for you, the hirer. Please note that we will not be able to hire items to anyone with Covid 19 symptoms. The hirer must notify Wonderfully Vintage, in advance of delivery, if there are any members of their household who have tested positive for Covid 19 or are presenting with symptoms in the run up to the hire or during hire.

At present, please restrict the use of your hired hamper and contents, to members of your own household or support bubble only. We ask that no other family members, neighbours or friends be invited to use the hired items.

Wonderfully Vintage will notify the hirer if at any point a member of the provider’s household becomes unwell with symptoms of Covid 19. Wonderfully Vintage reserves the right to cancel the hire if this situation arises.

Wonderfully Vintage will call ahead of the booking, to confirm details with the hirer. Please let us know at this time if you or your household have developed any symptoms of Covid 19.

PAYMENT:  We regret that no cash payments can be accepted at present.  Accounts must be settled in advance and should be made on-line only, either by bank transfer or by card payment.

We will continue to monitor and follow Government advice. If and when changes are made, we will update our guidelines accordingly.
